2018 JMF Reunion Summary
The 2018 Johnson-Morris Family Reunion was held July 6-8, 2018. The event began with an evening of bowling at Seminole Bowls in Tallahassee, Florida on July 6th. On the morning of July 7th, family worship service was held at Willie Johnson and Nettie Morris Johnson’s home church, Mt. Olive A.M.E. The Reverend Emma Henderson a former Pastor of Mt. Olive A.M.E. and a current Pastoral Staff Member of Flipper Chapel A.M.E. Church Tallahassee delivered a powerful message from the Lord. In the afternoon, the family meet at the Monticello Woman Club for food, fellowship and fun. Family members prepared a marvelous menu consisting of barbecue ribs, barbecue chicken, smoked chicken, baked chicken, green beans, collard greens, baked beans, potato salad, yellow rice, white rice, stuffing, corn bread, rolls, water melon, chips, cakes, sweet potato pies, lemonade, tea, soft drinks and water. On the morning of July 8th, some family members attended Worship Service at Union Branch AME Church in Monticello with lunch following in the church fellowship hall. 2016 Johnson-Morris Family Reunion 30 Year Summary
The Johnson-Morris Family 30 Year Reunion Celebration took place July 8-10, 2016. The event kicked-off with an evening of bowling at Seminole Bowls in Tallahassee, Florida on July 8th. Family worship service was held at Willie Johnson & Nettie Morris Johnson’s home church, Mt. Olive A.M.E. in Monticello on the morning of July 9th where the Reverend T.C. Mitchell, Jr., Pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church delivered a very encouraging message to the Family. In the afternoon, the family meet at New Time buffet in Tallahassee for a variety of southern food. The evening was filled with more fellowship and fun at Cascades Parks in Tallahassee. The event concluded as we joined with Union Branch A.M.E. Church in Monticello for a Community Day Celebration, followed by lunch in the church’s fellowship hall. (See photos in the Gallery section.)
Our 30 Year Reunion Celebration was G-R-E-A-T!! We had such a wonderful time. Thank you for your support.

2015 Johnson-Morris Family Reunion Summary
The 2015 Johnson-Morris Family Reunion took place on July 10-12, 2015. On the evening of July 10th, participants were giving the choice of going bowling at Seminole Bowls in Tallahassee, Florida or attending revival at Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church in Monticello, Florida. On the morning of July 11th, family worship service was held at Willie Johnson & Nettie Morris Johnson’s home church, Mt. Olive A.M.E. The Reverend T.C. Mitchell, Jr., Pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church delivered an anointed Word from God. Minister Ursula Montgomery and Sister Bykerria Siler blessed the family with praise dances. In the afternoon, the family meet at Jefferson County Recreation Park for an enormous feast and a time of fellowship. Family members prepared a fantastic menu consisting of barbecue chicken, barbecue ribs, fried fish, sausage, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, dirty rice, collard greens, black eye peas, corn bread, water melon, chips, cakes, sweet potato pies, lemonade, tea, soft drinks and water. Oh my! In the evening, participants took part in the activity of their choosing. On the morning of July 12th, some family members attended Worship Service at Union Branch A.M.E. Church in Monticello. In the afternoon, some family members attended the Isom Family Program at Union Branch A.M.E. Church with dinner following in the church fellowship hall.
What a weekend of rejoicing participants experienced at the 2015 Johnson-Morris Family Reunion! There were many relatives and friends in attendance. Some participants had not seen each other for a while and others met for the very first time. Some discovered that they lived in the same city and a couple of members even learned they attended the same church. The family coming together was really awesome.
